We were planning on heading over to Bookdock's, but just as we were getting ready to leave the cemetery the wind started blowing and it started to POUR! Luckily, we were super close to "Pizza". My family has been going to Rock Creek Pizza since I was 4 (do I have to admit how long that has been?!) and it is the best! It's the only place that the girls will eat more than a piece of pizza and Mark says he lost count of how many he had. We have so many memories there and it was the perfect place to be on Memorial Day. After lunch, we went back to my parents and played Ticket to Ride....super fun game! Em and Bry let the girls be on their teams and put the little trains on the board-what lucky girls!
That night we ended up at Mark's Parent's house for a BBQ with the whole fam! It was a blast and the girls had so much fun with their cousins! They were down in the basement for most of the night and we were able to just hang out with the adults for a bit. I also got to hold my sweet new niece Sadi! I love Mark's family because we all laugh a ton!

that sounds like so much fun. i miss being able to just hang out and have fun! oh and i should try out that pizza place...you make it sound really good and i LOVE pizza.

Gotta love this LOVELY April weather that we're having it started down pouring on us at my dad's grave, and then we ended up getting take out too, not yummy pizza, but still it was all good! Glad to hear your day turned out so fun!!

Mark is doing much better now, but he had celulitis! It is an infection in the blood and can be really serious. His eye was totally swollen shut, so we were calling him Quazi(from Hunchback)!
